These two classes were situated in the information design and product design branches of the integrated design curriculum at the University of the Arts Bremen. One focused on interaction techniques for multi-touch surfaces, the other one addressed the designation of hazardous materials and the long-term stability of sign systems (or at least the relevant semiotic foundations).
